- I get the same symptoms. I've looked at the Network Status window and found
- that the problem is some "hung" connections. It always hangs at one of
- three states: "Look up", "Connecting", and "n/n" where n is the total size
- of the image being downloaded (i.e. hangs on the last byte.) In my case the
- problem seems to occur only with .gif images. I've the gif.datatype 39.16
- installed. Coincidence? I can't kill ("X" or "XXX") the hung connections.
